Tme to Rant
it's been a while but i'm back to blow off some steam. new job (not exactly), new levels of stress. it's not the job that's a pain, it's the talking to people that don't seem to make my life easier. which brings me to try blogging again, it might help relieve me of some post-meeting stress. it doesn't seem to work but that's ok. i'm rambling, can you tell? i just need some time off this spell. dealing with some people seems like hell. does all of this ring a bell? (hmm.. that kinda rhymes..)

There's Someone On My Workstation...
as i write this entry, i am currently on a different workstation. you might ask why is that. it's because, by a friendly request, my workstation is being used as a guinea pig for a new program at work. i feel really uncomfortable with all of those "useless" applications being installed on my pc and i really hope that the guy doing all this will uninstall these said applications before i am courteously given back my pc. don't get me wrong, i like letting them use my resources for the "betterment" of the company. i just can't work with a cluttered-up pc with stuff i don't really need.

Work! Work! Work!
it's 6:51 in the morning and guess where i am? i'm at work! that's really great! today is a saturday and i'm supposed to be at home at this time - asleep, catching up on rest. but no! i have to be at work to move some servers to a newly renovated area. it's a good thing that i'll be with really good buddies of mine to help. why do i have this strong feeling that someone has to be here too during this task... it's time for breakfast. i haven't eaten anything before leaving the house so i'll need to eat. unless i want to find myself underneath a 400 pound server rack.

It's funny whenever I approach the street corner at home. I'm half running just to get there and I'm noticing all of the public transport passing by. They're all good rides, airconditioned, the rides that I need to get to my next one. But once I get to the corner, they're all gone! Why is it like that? Do they know that I'm coming that's why they hurry? Is there someone who tells them that I need a ride and they scurry away from me? After they've all passed me by, I find myself standing there for at least 20 minutes or so until I finaly decide to take a non-airconditioned ride. I go through the early morning smog from the mountains, not to mention the dust and grime that might cling on to my clothes. Forty minutes later I'm getting off feeling like garbage. I'm taking my next ride but since it took me so long to get here, I'm stuck in a line three blocks long. I start to sweat under the heat of the not-so-early morning sun. Another forty minutes later, I FINALY get my ride to work. I get up at 5:30am every day just to get to work three and a half hours later. Pretty taxing if you ask me.
